CORE empowers youth through transformative outdoor experiences that foster personal growth, adventure, leadership, and environmental stewardship. By inspiring a lifelong connection to nature and exploration, we equip young people with the skills and confidence to guide future generations.
To achieve this, we need a community effort. Below are some ways you can get involved to build CORE for our community:
Make a Donation
Join CORE in our mission to make outdoor adventures accessible for all families, regardless of financial barriers. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every contribution helps us expand our gear closet and fund scholarships. Together, we can create transformational outdoor experiences for everyone. We gladly accept in-kind donations as well! Gently used gear such as tents, backpacks, rain jackets, or climbing shoes helps equip our students and expand access to outdoor adventures. Every contribution makes a difference!
Volunteer
Want to share some incredible adventures and be a part of transformational experiences? Do you have experience leading groups in the outdoors? Love teaching and sharing your knowledge? Have a lesson inline with the mission of CORE and are interested in teaching? If so, we would love to meet you. Foster Community Partnerships
CORE is available and willing to serve the community however we can! We need help connecting with service opportunities that can be accomplished by youth on Wednesday and Thursday evenings or weekends. There are a multitude of non-profits and business in Morganton doing wonderful things for our community. If you have a partnership opportunity please reach out! We are stronger together.
Shop at the CORE Store
Visit the CORE Store to shop for CORE t-shirts,hats, and more. Every purchase makes a huge difference in supporting our program!
Enroll a Student
We invite anyone interested in CORE to contact us directly via email. Prospective families are encouraged to attend a weekly meeting to determine if CORE is the right fit before committing to join. New students can enroll at anytime! Spots fill up fast, so please reach out to secure a place in a group or on the waitlist.
