Schedule and Sign ups
CORE is excited to release the 2025 Spring Schedule! Please note, our schedule is a dynamic document that may change with inclement weather, so keep an eye out weekly newsletters. To guarantee your student secures a spot and doesn’t miss out on the fun, please sign up for trips using Sign Up Genius!

Tuition
Tuition is paid monthly from September to May. Each month, your tuition provides access to a range of valuable experiences and resources, including:

Four weekly educational meetings focusing on one of three topics: Enviornmental education, community service, or technical recreation skills.

One to three thoughtfully planned weekend adventures.

Comprehensive program-wide insurance.

Expert instruction and guidance from certified instructors.

A strong sense of community and interpersonal growth.
CORE is dedicated to ensuring the program is accessible and affordable for all families. Scholarships are available for students. For more details on program pricing and financal aid, please get in touch!

Gear Guide
Students receive guidance during weekly meetings on what and how to pack all necessary equipment. These lists and tips below are to help parents assist students. If there is an item on the list you do not have, do not worry! Let us know. We can collaborate to find solutions, including offering advice on affordable options or connecting with members who are willing to share or loan personal items. The lists below serve as general packing guides for typical meetings, day hikes, or camping trips. Additional items will be required for climbing, boating, or caving trips. Specific packing lists for each trip will be sent out prior to the, so please check your email regularly.
Meetings
For meetings students will primarily be outdoors. Bringing these items will ensure students can participate safely and comfortably:
-Water Bottle
-Headlamp
-Warm Layers
-Sturdy shoes
CORE provided Group Gear for all trips
-First Aid Kit
-Group Tarp
-Satellite Phone
Day Trips
To be prepared for any adventure it is a good rule of thumb to have the following:
-Backpack -- big enough for all your Gear!
-Backpack liner and/or cover (Contractor trash bag)
-Baselayer Top
-Baselayer Bottom
-Non Cotton Pants and/or shorts
-Fleece Jacket
-Puffy Jacket
-Rain Jacket
-Rain Pants
-Hiking Boots
-Wool socks
-Beanie
-Gloves
-2-4 Liters of water capacity
-Headlamp and extra batteries
-Toilet Paper and Hand Sanitizer
-Lunch and snacks for the day
Overnight Trips
For overnight trips you will need all the items from the “Day trips” list plus the following:
-Sleeping Bag
-Sleeping Pad
-Tent or Tarp and ground cloth
-Stove
-Fuel
-Pot/pan
-Utensil(s)
-Hygiene products
-Extra wool socks
-Extra underwear
-Book and/or Journal
-Food for the appropriate number of days in stuff sack
